Realme GT 2 Pro 5G becomes the first smartphone to score over a million points in the AnTuTu benchmark

BBK Electronics’ Realme brand is preparing the flagship Realme GT 2 Pro 5G model, which is expected to go on sale in 2022. According to preliminary data, the smartphone will use the most advanced Qualcomm chipset – Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (Snapdragon 898). It turned out that the novelty had already been tested in the AnTuTu benchmark and it showed unprecedented results.

Snapdragon 898 promises to be one of the most productive chipsets of the next year. Now the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G, equipped with a promising processor, has appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark under the codename RMX3300. Earlier it was reported that the new product was named RMX3301, so, probably, we are talking about some kind of smartphone.

Previously, it was expected that the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, but now it will be replaced with a more modern version. According to the well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the Realme device with the number RMX3300 scored 1,025,215 points in AnTuTu, becoming the first model in the history of the site to break the million mark.

While the palm in AnTuTu was held by Nubia Red Magic 6 with 858,734 points. This means that the Snapdragon 898 model is about 20% faster than the latest Nubia flagship.

The device is rumored to receive a 6.51-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The main camera with a 50 megapixel sensor supports optical image stabilization, the front camera has a 32 megapixel sensor. Battery capacity – 5000 mAh, 125 W charging is supported. It is also expected that the novelty will receive LPPDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 permanent memory. Out of the box, the smartphone will run on Android 11 OS in the Realme UI 3.0 shell. Sales will begin in early 2022, and the price will start at $ 629.
