Rapper 50 Cent captivated GTA fans with a message featuring the Vice City logo

American rapper Curtis James Jackson, better known by the alias 50 Cent, confused his social media subscribers with a message dedicated to Rockstar Games’ open-world action series Grand Theft Auto.

Post 50 Cent on Instagram* consists Platinum Trophy Icons for GTA: Vice City — The Definitive Edition and a short message: “I’ll explain later, GLG (GreenLightGang). This shnyaga is cooler than POWER, trust me. BOOM”.

Under PERFOMANCE refers to the television series Power in the Night City produced by 50 Cent. The rapper also added the hashtags of the alcoholic beverages he has released – Branson cognac and Le Chemin du Roi champagne – to the message.

It is unclear whether 50 Cent is sharing joy over the entire course of GTA: Vice City – The Definitive Edition in a thinly veiled form or is alluding to his involvement in the future of GTA.

Keep in mind that the next licensed Grand Theft Auto will reportedly be set in a modern version of Vice City. In addition, fans in the comments do not rule out that 50 Cent could be associated with an unannounced series based on GTA.

Rockstar isn’t the first to collaborate with world-class musicians: a content update for GTA Online was released in December 2021 The contractwhere, among other things, rapper Dr. Dre appeared (playing himself).

The next numbered Grand Theft Auto is expected to appear in 2024 at the earliest. Last September, hackers released about a hundred gameplay videos of a trial version of the game. The leak was confirmed by Rockstar itself.
