It became known that Quan Chi will break into Mortal Kombat 1 after Omni-Man: the wizard who started as a simple miner is now thinking about conquering the Mortal Kombat universe together with Shang Tsung.

The gameplay video below reveals Quan Chi’s penchant for necromancy and his ability to manipulate portals: among other things, the fighter is able to summon skulls, skeletons and even demons from the underworld to his aid.

In addition to Quan Chi, the trailer featured a new support fighter for Kameleon and the next guest character from the Kombat Pack – the DC Comics superhero Peacemaker, whose voice and appearance came from John Cena.

Quan Chi and Kameleona will be available to Kombat Pack buyers on December 14th and can be purchased separately on December 21st (Quan Chi) and January (Kameleona). Peacekeeper’s debut in Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled for February.
