There is no reliable information on the name of the new processor yet, but following the logic of getting names for the Snapdragon 8-series flagship mobile platforms, we can assume that we will probably have Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 speak gene 2.
So far there is very little information about the new mobile platform, but according to data that appeared in the Geekbench benchmark, a certain new Snapdragon SM7475 chipset received a Cortex-X2 core with a frequency of up to 2.92 GHz, three Cortex-A710 at 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A510 at 1.8GHz. Also, the model uses a graphics accelerator Adreno 725 with a frequency of 580 Hz.
If the information is correct, it will be the first use of the Cortex-X2 core in a mid-range processor – so far it has only been used in flagships. According to reports, the platform will be manufactured on the basis of a 4nm process technology.
