The configuration provides for the presence of two clusters, each with four cores. These are Arm Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 quartets clocked up to 2.36GHz and 1.8GHz, respectively.

In addition, the processor will receive a graphics accelerator Adreno 662. Apparently, the product will include a modem with support for fifth generation (5G) cellular communications.

The chip is manufactured by Samsung using 4 nm technology. According to available information, the novelty will debut in May at the Qualcomm 5G Summit. At the same time, the announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor is expected, which will be an improved version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 model.

It is known that smartphones based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ are set to be released by companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Lenovo, Motorola, etc.
