Publisher Tekken has hinted at the next game in the series

At the end two minute trailer, dedicated to Tekken 7 news, features the ending of Kazuya from the original Tekken and a new, older version of the character. The teaser is accompanied by the phrase “Get Ready”.

As PC Gamer recalls, the potential Tekken 8 was part of a leak from the GeForce Now servers that revealed several already confirmed projects such as the PC versions of God of War and Final Fantasy VII Remake, as well as Street Fighter 6.

Also, on August 17, Tekken 7 will receive a free patch with a balance adjustment and new tactics, and the finals of the Tekken World Tour 2022 esports tournament will take place on February 4-5, 2023 in Amsterdam.

Tekken 7 debuted in arcades in 2015 and found its way to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2017. By June 2022, the total sales of the game exceeded 9 million copies – this is the best result in the history of the series.
