The author of the PlayStation Game Size microblog, which oversees the addition of games and patches to the PS Store database, informedthat he found in the system a mention of the PS5 version of the Apex Legends Battle Royale.

It has been known since April 2020 that Respawn Entertainment is working on versions of Apex Legends for the current generation consoles, but the developers have not announced when the game’s platform geography will be expanded.
As reported by PlayStation Game Size, the download size of Apex Legends for PlayStation 5 without additional updates is 80GB. For comparison: on the PlayStation 4, the game occupies just over 54 GB.

In November 2021, data miner Shrugtal revealed that with the start of Season 11, the codename Xbox Series X and S appeared in the Apex Legends files, and even earlier mention of the PS5 gamepad appeared in the system.
Apex Legends has released on PC (Steam, Origin), PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and remains backwards compatible with PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. While the game is still in Season 11 according to the Battle Pass, it ends on September 8th. February.
