Portal 3DCenter has prepared fresh statistics on the dynamics of prices for graphics accelerators AMD Radeon RX 6000 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series in Austria and Germany. Video cards have risen in price again.
On average, as of the first half of October, “red” cards have risen in price by 9 percentage points relative to September, and “green” – by 2 percentage points. After a noticeable drop in prices in July, the cost of graphics accelerators began to rise again at a rather rapid pace, despite the fact that AMD and NVIDIA are working hard to meet demand.
If in the summer the Radeon RX 6000 video cards were on average sold at prices 53% higher than the recommended ones, then as of October 10, their cost is close to March, when prices were 88% higher than the recommended ones. According to 3DCenter, prices for Radeon RX 6000 series models are now 83% higher than recommended prices on average.
Prices for NVIDIA video cards are also rising, although not so rapidly. If in September their cost was on average 70% higher than the recommended price, then on October 10 the overpayment averages 72% to the recommended price.
