Prices for graphics cards Radeon RX 6000 in Europe fell below the recommended ones for the first time

For the first time since the Radeon RX 6000 graphics accelerators went on sale, their prices in Europe have fallen below the recommended prices on average. This is the result of the report by the 3DCenter portal, which regularly publishes new statistics on the graphics card market in Germany and Austria.

According to the source, in recent months, the situation with the availability of graphics cards in European markets has improved significantly. And to date, Radeon RX 6000 accelerator prices are on average 8% lower than recommended, which is 10 percentage points lower than on May 20th. Almost every model of the Radeon RX 6000, including the always very popular Radeon RX 6800 XT, can now easily be found at a relatively attractive price.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics cards have dropped 4 percentage points in price since May. However, the average cost of accelerators is still 2% higher than recommended. It is very likely that the situation will change for the better in the coming weeks.

The fall in the price of graphics cards is also associated with a significant drop in the profitability of the cryptocurrency market. Cheaper Ethereum is forcing miners to sell their accelerator hoards at bargain prices to avoid a complete loss of investment. A similar situation can be observed in the graphics card market in the United States.

According to 3DCenter, the fall in price of graphics cards in Europe could slow down in the coming weeks due to the stronger exchange rate of the dollar against the euro. In response, raters can adjust the price of their listings.
