A press photo of the base model of the Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone series, which will be presented at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, has been leaked to the network. This will allow you to get an idea of the design of the novelty. Additionally, renders released by WinFuture show color options for the Galaxy S23.
WinFuture’s Roland Quandt claims that these are official marketing images from Samsung and not user renders based on leaks, previous models or design predictions.
Judging by the renders, the Galaxy S23 won’t have the same bump for the rear cameras as its predecessor, the Galaxy S22. But each of the three main cameras will protrude slightly beyond the rear. The case of the S23, like the previous models, is a combination of a metal frame and a glass back. The images also reveal that the novelty will be available in four colors: black, white, green and pink-purple. According to WinFuture, the color options are named as follows: Black – Phantom Black, Green – Botanic Green, Pink-Purple – Mystic Lilac, White – Cotton Flower.
Last time Samsung used different adjectives in the color names for the Galaxy S20 series and after that just added the word phantom to describe the color, for example black is phantom black.
The updated flagship series is expected to include the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S23 will get an OLED display, and the entire series will be built on a more powerful version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 4.0 drive. All devices in the series come standard with Android 13 OS.
