The Honor brand has announced the Play 5 Vitality Edition smartphone, running the Android 11 operating system with a proprietary add-on Magic UI 4.2. The device is already available for pre-order.
The new product uses a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. The chip contains eight computing cores – two Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. The product also includes an ARM Mali-G68 MC4 graphics controller and a 5G SA / NSA modem.
The amount of RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 and 256 GB. There are Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a USB Type-C port and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone received a 6.67-inch FHD + display with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels. The refresh rate of this panel reaches 120Hz. The screen occupies 94.4% of the front surface area of the case.
The triple rear camera combines a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and a 2-megapixel sensor for depth information. A dual camera with a 16-megapixel module is installed in front.
The Honor Play 5 Vitality Edition starts at $ 280.
