Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sell 10 million copies in first three days, new Nintendo record

RPG Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sold over 10 million copies in its first three days, setting a new release record for Nintendo. The project went on sale on the Nintendo Switch console on November 18.

According to Nintendo and developer Game Freak, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was the best-selling game in three days for any of the publisher’s software across all of its platforms ever released.

Despite numerous technical issues that plagued Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, record sales were achieved. On social networks, fans of the popular franchise actively share videos demonstrating flaws and shortcomings of varying severity.

Most likely, the abundance of bugs and performance issues affected the final rating of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received frankly critical only 76 out of 100%. That’s the lowest value for a major release since Emerald. The game debuted on November 18th on the Nintendo Switch.
