The Poco brand, founded by the Chinese company Xiaomi, has officially announced the C40 mid-range smartphone with the Android 11 operating system, supplemented by the MIUI 13 proprietary user interface.

The main feature of the novelty is the use of an unusual processor called JR510, developed by JLQ Technology. The chip contains eight cores (quartets clocked at up to 2.0 and 1.5 GHz) and a Mali-G52 graphics accelerator. An integrated modem offers support for 4G communication and VoLTE technology.
The display has a diagonal size of 6.71 inches and has a resolution of HD+ (1650 × 720 pixels). Applied protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass. At the top of the screen is a waterdrop notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera combines a 13-megapixel main unit with a maximum aperture of f/1.8, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an LED flash.
There are adapters Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0, a rear fingerprint scanner, a microSD card slot, an FM tuner, a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The 6000 mAh battery supports 18 watt charging. Dimensions – 169.59 × 76.56 × 9.18 mm, weight – 204 g.
Buyers can choose between versions with 3 and 4 GB of RAM, which are equipped with a drive with a capacity of 32 and 64 GB, respectively. The price has not yet been announced.
