PlayStation Studios President Hermen Hulst from the Official PlayStation Blog announced about joining the in-house studios of Canadian collective Haven Studios by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE).
According to Hulst, the Japanese platformer began collaborating with Haven Studios in early 2021 and has since been impressed by the creative and technical potential of the team.
Haven Studios is currently working on its debut project for PC and PS5 – it is based on the new intellectual property, with a multiplayer component and elements of game services.
Remember, Haven Studios was founded in March 2021 by industry veteran Jade Raymond, who has previously worked for companies like Google (specifically Google Stadia), Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft.
Previously, PlayStation Studios included Housemarque (Returnal), Bluepoint Games (Demon’s Souls), Nixxes Software (PC port), Firesprite Games (The Persistence), Valkyrie Entertainment (help with God of War Ragnarok) and Bungie (Destiny).
