Dying Light 2 Stay Human lead game designer Tymon Smektala in an interview with the portal game informant spoke about post-release support for Techland’s open-world zombie action game.
Recall that Techland has promised to bring new content to Dying Light 2 at least five years after its release and has already presented a development plan for the project by June of this year.
According to Smektala, the developers want future content for Dying Light 2 to surprise first: “We don’t want to get into a repetitive situation where the players know what to expect from us”.
“At the same time, for example, the first story supplement that we promised. I’ve seen many conversations online about what it would be about and I can say with confidence that they were…not even remotely true.– said Smektala.
The game designer also revealed that the addon’s plot will develop alongside the main story, not after it. In the future, however, the team will add events closer to the endgame.
Also, Smektala has already mentioned this “very soon” Community requested features will appear in Dying Light 2 in one form or another. The interview mentions New Game+, photo mode, and additional difficulty levels.
