Remember the launch of the Cyberpunk 2077 blogger PowerPyx drew attention to the fact that only 2% of all replicas in the project affect the development of the plot, and in general, for many, the game turned out more linearthan it appeared on the pre-release demos.

According to Sasko, Cyberpunk 2077 “crazy volume” Nonlinearity (structure, mechanics, solutions) guaranteed along with an element of randomness “the impossibility of two identical passages”.

Along with this, Sasko admits criticism of the variability of Cyberpunk 2077 “fully justified” (and at the same time “slightly bloated”), as due to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt device “Players expected more” – specifically in relation to large forks.

Sasko suggests developers take a broader view of nonlinearity, while for some outraged players branching means different solutions lead to it “completely different content”.

“I’m not saying we did a damn good job. We did well, but we could have done better. We know how to do better. And I expect more from me and us as a studio.”Sasko closed.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Phantom Liberty will be released this year for PC and current-gen consoles. A sequel, codenamed Orion, is also in development.
