Players do not need to play through the entire Diablo IV story campaign to unlock the horse

In a recent material about gameplay customization in Diablo IV, developers from Blizzard Entertainment reportedthat players can only unlock vehicles after completing the story campaign. As it turned out, this is not so.

The wording in the official blog was this transport “unlocked after completing the main questline on a character”. In other words, users don’t see the horse until the endgame.

Shortly after it was brought to the media’s and players’ attention, Blizzard corrected the vehicle’s note: It is now “unlocked by completing the quest chain during the main story campaign”.

Diablo manager Rod FergusonHead of Public Relations Adam Fletcher Adam Fletcher and President of Blizzard Mike Ybarra Mike Ybarra called the original wording in the blog incorrect.

As noted by the portal PC gamerThe transport has gone through several iterations since its announcement for Diablo IV, as evidenced by footage of closed tests (alphas and betas for high-level players) leaking onto the internet.

During the March Beta, players were able to obtain unique skins for horses, but to unlock the vehicle you must complete the quest “Riding: Donan’s Gift”. When he will appear is not clear, but already in Kiovashad there were bridegrooms.

Diablo IV is coming June 6th to PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. May 12th-14th will be the last open “beta” before release – Blizzard has that reveal the system requirements for it and the final game in days.
