Blizzard official announced the start date for the Overwatch 2 closed beta test, which will take place in several phases. Players who have applied can try the project on April 26, but this is only possible on PC.
As part of the test, players will have access to new heroes and maps, as well as an updated classic 5v5 mode. The new character will be Sojorn, armed with a railgun. Four heroes are being revamped – Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion, and Sombra. A new marking system will appear in the upcoming test.
Four new maps are also offered – Circuit Royal, Midtown, New Queen Street and Colosseo. In the new “Push” mode, teams fight for control of the robot that must lead to the enemy base. In the end, the team that gets the robot further than the other wins.
Last week the developers announced the launch of “Beta” at the end of next month and opened access to registration. The site could not withstand the influx of applicants and almost immediately stopped working. Now you can sign up for testing on the official one Side? site.
Overwatch 2 is officially announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The developers did not specify the release date of the project.
