Oppo has expanded its smartphone range with the mid-range A96 5G model: the device can already be pre-ordered at a price of 315 US dollars, and actual sales will start on January 9th.
The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. The chip combines eight Kryo 660 cores with a clock rate of up to 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X51 5G cellular modem.
The 6.43-inch OLED Full HD + display has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a touch panel response rate of 180 Hz and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1. In the upper left corner of the screen there is a perforation for a 16 megapixel selfie camera. A fingerprint scanner is also integrated in the display area.
The rear view camera contains two sensors – 48 and 2 million pixels. A battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh with support for fast 33-watt charging is responsible for the power supply.
The ColorOS 12 operating system is installed on the smartphone and is offered in a single configuration – with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
