Oppo A77’s $220 smartphone launched with Snapdragon 680 SoC

The Chinese company Oppo announced a mid-range A77s smartphone with the ColorOS 12.1 operating system based on Android 12. Qualcomm hardware platform was used without 5G cellular support.

The display has a diagonal of 6.56 inches, a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels (HD+ format), a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 cd/m²2. Durable Panda Glass is responsible for protection against damage.

The Snapdragon 680 processor is used, which combines eight Kryo 265 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz and an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator.An integrated modem provides support for 4G / LTE networks. The amount of RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB, expandable with a microSD card.

The front camera is based on an 8 megapixel sensor. On the back there is a dual camera with a 50-megapixel main module (f/1.8) and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor.

The Oppo A77s smartphone’s arsenal includes 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. Estimated price is $220.
