Riot Games has been looking for specialists who will develop the console version of the shareware hero shooter Valorant. Currently the project is only available on PC, but in the past there has been information about the possible expansion of its platform geography.
Riot Games announced in June 2022 that its games, including Valorant, would be available for free with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. The very fact of partnering with Microsoft hinted that the shooter could become available to console owners, and the studio recently posted two jobs on Hitmaker, a popular job-seeking service in the gaming industry.
Riot Games in particular is looking senior game designerwhat should “Work with department leaders to define the vision for the Valorant combat system on consoles.”and also Design manager. His duties include “Development and improvement of features, modes and systems to bring console versions of the product to market”.
Riot Games itself has not yet officially commented on the publication of the points mentioned.
