One-Netbook has announced the OneXPlayer 2 portable game console. The device will get an 8.4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, powerful hardware, a high-quality audio system with two speakers and a body with detachable controls.

The OneXPlayer 2 is offered in multiple configurations, with either a Ryzen 7 6800U octa-core processor (2.7-4.7 GHz) or an unnamed 13th Gen Intel Core chip. It’s worth noting that Intel hasn’t officially announced the Raptor Lake mobile processors yet. The Ryzen 7 6800U has an integrated Radeon 680M graphics core, but it’s not yet clear how well it can handle games at 2.5K resolution. Graphics tests show that it can achieve an acceptable level of performance in modern games at 1080p, but more often only with AMD FSR image scaling technology.

The OneXPlayer blog on the Bilibili platform also indicates that a compact keyboard with magnetic connection for the portable set-top box will be released. Along with detachable controllers, this will expand the scope of OneXPlayer 2.
