portal Windows headquarters citing Microsoft, said Playground Games co-founder Gavin Raeburn is leaving the British studio known for the Forza Horizon racing series.

As it became known, Raeburn will be replaced as head of Playground Games by the studio’s second co-founder – Trevor Williams (Trevor Williams). The appointment has been confirmed by Forza and Fable franchise curator Alan Hartman.
“We thank Gav, co-founder of Playground Games, for his leadership and contribution to the Forza franchise and we wish him well.”– Hartman commented.

What Raeburn will do next is not set. Before founding Playground Games, the developer worked for Codemasters, where he was involved in series such as TOCA, DiRT, GRID and F1.
In November 2021, Playground Games released Forza Horizon 5, an open world racing arcade game for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and is currently creating a new part of the fantasy series Fable.
