The project turned out to be a third-person adventure action game. As expected, the developer is EA Motive, a Canadian studio owned by Electronic Arts that is currently working on a remake of Dead Space.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Senior Producer Olivier Proulx is directing production, and the team includes industry veterans including Star Wars: Squadrons Creative Director Ian Frazier.

As of now, the untitled Iron Man game is being developed and in pre-production by EA Motive in partnership with Marvel Games. In other words, active development has not yet started.

They’ll share the details later, but for now, they promise an original storyline and a chance to feel like Iron Man. It is reported that this is only the first project in a series of collaborative projects for Marvel and Electronic Arts.
