NVIDIA today released an update for the GeForce 471.68 WHQL video driver. In the fresh version, the company has brought support for the latest games such as Psychonauts 2, Naraka: Bladepoint and Back 4 Blood Open Beta. Support for these games is now available on all GeForce graphics cards from the GeForce GTX 5xx series to the latest GeForce RTX 30xx.
Since Naraka: Bladepoint uses the latest NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex technologies, this driver version enables them for all compatible graphics cards. In addition to gaming support, the new driver adds G-SYNC support for seven new monitors, including AOC AG274FG8R4 +, AOC AG274QG3R4B +, ASUS VG258QM, ASUS PG32UQ, Lenovo G24-20, MSI G251F, and ViewSonic XG320Q.
Among other things, the new drivers fix a number of problems with previous software versions. Batman Arkham Knight on GeForce 10xx series graphics cards will no longer crash when using turbulent smoke. Hitman 3 will stop displaying random blinking when V-SYNC is disabled. A bug due to which the frame rate drops during the game or when running the test has been fixed in the fresh driver. We also fixed an issue that prevented NVIDIA GPUs from using PhysX when running the PLA benchmark, and a number of other flaws in the previous software release.
However, the issue is still not resolved where video playback stops when scrolling down the YouTube page. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 can still display graphical artifacts, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed can crash on tracks where players are driving through water. DCP latency is higher when using 8-bit rather than 10-bit color. Also, it is not possible to determine the supported display modes for the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor.
