At its presentation today, NVIDIA presented the GeForce RTX 3050 desktop graphics accelerator, an entry-level gaming solution based on the Ampere architecture. The manufacturer positions the graphics card as a solution for games in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second in the most modern games.

The GeForce RTX 3050 uses the second generation of RT cores for ray tracing and the third generation of tensor cores. The GeForce RTX 3050 is based on the GA106-150 GPU with 2560 CUDA cores and works in the frequency range from 1.5 to 1.78 GHz. The card received 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with support for a 128-bit bus width and is equipped with a PCIe 4.0 interface.
The graphics card claims it supports Resizable BAR, NVIDIA Reflex, Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, as well as NVIDIA RTX and DLSS.
The manufacturer said the card will go on sale Jan. 27. The suggested cost is $ 249.
