Nothing Phone (1) gets a 32MP selfie camera and a Snapdragon 778G chip

Network sources have pulled in information about the features of Nothing Phone (1), the first smartphone from fledgling Nothing, founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. The novelty will receive a fairly productive filling, but it will refer to mid-range solutions.

It is reported that the device will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor. The chip combines eight Kryo 670 cores clocked up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 642L graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X53 5G modem. We are talking about the presence of 8GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128GB. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery with wireless charging support.

The novelty is credited with the presence of a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and support for HDR10 +. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. A three-component configuration is envisaged for the reversing camera. The equipment includes a 50-megapixel main unit, an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone comes with the Nothing OS operating system based on Android 12. The price has not yet been announced.
