Nintendo talks about new achievements of games for Switch – sales of Pokemon Legends: Arceus have exceeded 12 million copies

Publisher Nintendo has updated sales information as part of the report for the last quarter of the past fiscal year. The most beloved and simply successful Nintendo Switch games from March 31, 2022.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the record holder of the platform – 45.33 million copies. There was only one change at the bottom of the top 10, with the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake coming in at number eight, ahead of Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!.

The top 10 best-selling Switch games for the most recent quarter of the past fiscal year are as follows:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 45.33 million copies (43.35 million last quarter)
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 38.64 million copies (37.62 million);
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 28.17 million copies (27.4 million);
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 26.55 million copies (25.8 million);
  5. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield – 24.27 million copies (23.9 million);
  6. Super Mario Odyssey – 23.5 million copies (23.02 million);
  7. Super Mario Party – 17.78 million copies (17.39 million);
  8. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl – 14.65 million copies (13.97 million);
  9. Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 14.53 million copies (14.33 million);
  10. Ring Fit Adventure – 14.09 million copies (13.53 million)

In addition, Nintendo has updated sales figures for other exclusive Switch products:

  • Splatoon 2 – 13.3 million copies (no data for the last quarter);
  • Pokemon Legends: Arceus – 12.64 million copies (new);
  • Luigi’s Mansion 3 – 11.43 million copies (11.04 million);
  • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – 9.43 million copies (8.85 million);
  • Mario Party Superstars – 6.88 million copies (5.43 million);
  • Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics – 4.22 million copies (no information for latest quarter);
  • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD – 3.91 million copies (3.85 million);
  • Metroid Dread – 2.9 million copies (2.74 million)
  • Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 2.65 million copies (new);
  • New Pokemon Snap – 2.4 million copies (2.36 million);
  • Mario Golf: Super Rush – 2.35 million copies (2.26 million);
  • Miitopia – 1.68 million copies (1.63 million);
  • Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain – 1.59 million copies (1.28 million);
  • WarioWare: Get it together! – 1.27 million copies (1.24 million);
  • Game Builder Garage – 1.06 million copies (1.01 million).

A total of 55.77 million games were sold for the Nintendo Switch during the reporting period, and 822.18 million over the entire life cycle of the console. Sales of the hybrid console itself are estimated at 107.65 million systems.
