It’s very likely that this is a showcase for the new “Space Zoom 100x” feature announced in the recently leaked Galaxy S23 Ultra full spec sheet. Samsung’s flagship smartphone will feature a 200-megapixel camera with a fresh ISOCELL HP2 sensor and a new shooting mode, although the 3x and 10x zoom will be retained from its S22 Ultra predecessor.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset in Europe in the coming days. The RAM size is 8/12 GB and instead of the expected LPDDR5X, the usual LPDDR5 is used. It is still unclear why newer RAM technology is not used. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440p and a pixel density of 500 ppi. A new generation of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is planned, compared to Victus+ on the S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be almost identical to its predecessor, with minimal differences in all three dimensions.
