Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer of Japanese studio FromSoftware reported on the release of update 1.03 for their fantasy open-world action role-playing game Elden Ring.
The patch adds the character Jar-Bairn, the function of fixing the NPC’s name and icon on the map, the continuation of the storylines of Nefeli, Gostok, Hayt and Diallos, “night” music for some locations in the open World and new AI wizards to summon.
In addition, in version 1.03 the balance has been corrected: we have increased the number and chance of dropping items for upgrades from enemies, increased the effectiveness of shields, weakened and strengthened some skills and spells.
Among other things, the update fixes a number of bugs, removes an accidentally added armor set from the game and improves performance. The full list of changes is available on the Bandai Namco website.
Elden Ring debuted on February 25th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. In less than three weeks of release, the game has sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
