The American streaming giant Netflix introduced the first footage from his animated series Sonic Prime, based on Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

The published look has 13 seconds, during which the fast blue hedgehog manages to run to the screen, collect several rings, spin one of them in his hand and talk about his toughness.
Although the published excerpt does not contain any clues about the plot, the fragment allows an assessment of the visual style of the upcoming show, for which Canadian studio WildBrain is responsible.
In the story, Sonic must go on a high-speed adventure, save the multiverse (it’s called the Shatterverse), and also meet alternate versions of his friends and enemies.
Sonic Prime will be coming to Netflix later this year. The series will consist of 24 episodes. In anticipation of the premiere, fans can while away the time with the retro collection from Sonic Origins, which hits stores on June 23rd.
