Prime Matter and Shanghai-based studio Arrowiz have announced Mato Anomalies, a turn-based RPG. It will be released in Q1 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Mato Anomalies is set in Mato, a fictional neo-futuristic version of Old Shanghai. This is no ordinary city, although it seems like it is. Evil lurks beneath its surface. The main characters – private detective Doe and exorcist Graham – investigate strange anomalies. However, you must go into the mysterious rifts to fight the demonic entities.

To uncover the truth, players must search for clues and clues throughout Mato by speaking to characters, completing quests, gaining trust, and visiting shops. And also fight powerful enemies in the rifts, which are portals to a place outside of space and time.

It is known that Mato Anomalies will feature a complex combat system in which the health of all team members will be shared. In addition, there will be an equipment matrix and a kind of dual talent system.
