MSI releases GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus Black and RTX 4060 Gaming with minimal RGB lighting

NVIDIA recently confirmed that the GeForce RTX 4060 mid-range graphics card will start shipping on June 29th. Many of the company’s partners presented their versions of this new product at the time of the announcement of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti models last month. One company that didn’t do this was MSI. Today the manufacturer showed which versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 it will release.

MSI will release the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus Black and the GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming. Both options have one common feature – the use of relatively compact cooling systems with two fans and the presence of only a small amount of RGB lighting.

Both novelties will appear both with and without factory overclocking of the AD107 GPU. For the overclocked version of the GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming X, the manufacturer indicates a GPU frequency of 2595 MHz and 2610 MHz (via the MSI Dragon Center application).

A frequency of 2490 MHz is specified for the overclocked version of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus Black OC. It can be increased to 2505 MHz through the MSI Dragon Center application.

The dimensions of the GeForce RTX 4060 gaming graphics cards are 247 × 130 × 41 mm, the dimensions of the Ventus Black models are 199 × 120 × 41 mm. Both cards received an 8-pin power connector.

The power consumption of new products is 115 watts. For these accelerators, the manufacturer recommends using power supplies with a capacity of 550 W or more. The graphics cards are equipped with three DisplaPort 1.4a video outputs and one HDMI 2.1 each.

Keep in mind that the suggested price for the GeForce RTX 4060 is $299. Reviews for the non-factory overclocked version of the card will be posted on June 28th.
