ASRock and MSI are preparing their versions of the Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics accelerator. Portal VideoCardz shared images of video cards in the performance of ASRock Radeon RX6950XT Formula OC and MSI Radeon RX6950XT Gaming X trio.
Nothing is currently known about the technical properties of these new products. Visually, both accelerators borrow the appearance of regular versions of the Radeon RX 6900 XT in the same versions. Both manufacturers have equipped the new Radeon RX 6950 XT with massive triple fan cooling systems.
The ASRock model received three 8-pin connectors for additional power supply and will occupy three expansion slots in the PC case.
The MSI Radeon RX 6950 XT Gaming X Trio model, on the other hand, is also equipped with three 8-pin power connectors, but uses a 2.5-slot design.
From the regular Radeon RX 6900 XT, the Radeon RX 6950 XT model will feature an increased maximum GPU frequency of up to 2310MHz, faster GDDR6 memory with a data transfer rate of up to 18Gb/s, and an increase in maximum power consumption to 325 W. It is very likely that the above ASRock and MSI graphics cards will offer additional factory overclocking for their Navi 21 graphics chips.
The two new products will be announced on May 10th. Then the sale will start.
