MSI has presented its versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator with 12 GB of RAM. The manufacturer announced the graphics cards in the versions Suprim, Gaming Trio and Ventus. All are massive solutions with three fan cooling systems.
The company has not specified the operating frequency range of its new products. It is likely that all models presented will be offered with both factory overclocked GPUs and reference frequencies. A curious detail is that the power consumption of the Suprim X and Gaming Z Trio models is specified as 390 watts. And for the Suprim, Gaming Trio Plus, Ventus 3X Plus OC and Ventus 3X Plus models, it is the reference of 350 watts given by NVIDIA.
The Suprim X and Gaming Z Trio models are equipped with three 8-pin connectors for additional power supply. The remaining versions received two 8-pin connectors. In addition, all versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB graphics card from MSI received three DisplayPort 1.4a connections and one HDMI 2.1 each.
The GeForce RTX 3080 12GB uses a GA102-220 GPU with 8960 CUDA cores, 70 RT cores and 280 tensor cores. In the reference version, the GPU base frequency is 1.26 GHz and the maximum is 1.71 GHz. The card received 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with an effective frequency of 19 GHz, a bus width of 384 bits and a bandwidth of 912 GB / s.
