The web was intended for the exhibition CES 2022 Press release from MSI on January 4th, announcing a full range of notebooks powered by 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processors up to Core i9-12900H with discrete graphics up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. Computers are addressed to gamers and professionals.
The document states that the new line will reflect MSI’s vision of the Metaverse and will be given the appropriate Meta-ready logo. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti discrete graphics present in the lineup, the manufacturer says, marks the debut of the flagship 80 Ti series products with video memory up to 16 GB GDDR6 on laptops. The 4th Generation NVIDIA Max-Q suite of solutions includes tools to manage power and performance. MSI has also prepared its own cooling solutions.
The Stealth GS77 and GS66 laptops are designed for play and work. With a thickness of 21 mm, they boast an enlarged touchpad and keyboard, six speakers for all frequencies; there is a webcam blocking and support for PD charging up to 100 watts. The Raider GE76 and GE 66 models offer maximum performance – with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, Core i9 and MSI OverBoost. One level below are the Vector GP76 and GP66 laptops, designed for gamers, engineers and scientists – they use GeForce RTX 3080 graphics.
The Crosshair GL series is the result of a collaboration between MSI and Ubisoft. These notebooks feature a futuristic design and support for Cooler Boost 5 technology; the line is represented by the Crosshair 15, Crosshair 17 and Crosshair 15 Rainbow Six Extraction Edition models, which will be released in limited edition. The Pulse GL76 and GL66 models feature the name of Belgian artist Maarten Verhoeven – plus 15% more airflow with Cooler Boost 5. American artist Justin Goby Fields co-conceived the Sword 17 and 15 as well as Katana GF76 and GF66. All of these laptops use GeForce RTX 3070 or RTX 3070 Ti graphics.
The Creator series notebooks (Z17, Z16P and Z16) are designed to work – as evidenced by the 16:10 aspect ratio touchscreens and stylus support. The Z16P offers a 20% increase in performance with a Vapor Chamber Cooler: 76% more cooling area, 65% more air flow, 2 ° C lower surface temperature.
