MSI has unveiled the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aero ITX 8G OC LHR graphics accelerator, which should best fit into compact Mini-ITX form factor PCs. The dimensions of the video card are only 172 × 125 × 43 mm.
To date, only a few manufacturers have introduced compact GeForce RTX 3060 models for Mini-ITX systems. MSI, in turn, was the first company to introduce the very compact GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The declared maximum frequency of the graphics processor for the new product is 1695 MHz – 30 MHz higher than the reference value. The manufacturer also released a regular version without factory overclocking, with reference frequency characteristics.
MSI indicates that the power consumption of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aero ITX 8G OC LHR is 200W. The card received one 8-pin connector for additional power supply. Since the novelty is equipped with a relatively simple cooling system with four heat-conducting pipes and one fan, it will not work to call it quiet during operation, especially under heavy loads. Like all other versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, the MSI version has four video interfaces – three DisplayPorts 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1.
The manufacturer himself did not indicate the recommended price of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aero ITX 8G OC LHR, however, according to the portal Tom’s hardware, in Japan, the novelty is expected at a price of 71,000 yen (about $ 650 including taxes).
