Remember that the solution mentioned is compliant with PCI Express Base Specification Revision 5.0 and NVMe 2.0. The controller contains two ARM Cortex-R5 cores and three proprietary CoXProcessor cores. It can work with 3D TLC and QLC NAND flash memory.
The drives planned by MSI are called Spatium E26. They are produced in the form of expansion cards with PCI Express 5.0 x4 (PCIe 5.0) interfaces.
The capacity and performance of the devices have not yet been reported. It just says that the speed of sequential reading of information exceeds 10 GB / s.
The drives have a single-slot design and a flat form factor. A thin copper film heat sink is used for cooling. So far nothing is known about the timing of the appearance of new products on the commercial market.
