Motorola showed the concept of a flexible smartphone that can be worn on the hand

This week the Lenovo Tech World event took place, where the developers announced a number of interesting new products. One of them was shown by the Motorola Mobility division. We’re talking about a smartphone prototype with a rollable display that can be transformed into a kind of smartwatch if necessary.

Lenovo presented the device as a smartphone concept “adaptive screen”, which can take different forms depending on the needs of the user. We’re talking about the foldability of the gadget, which means it can be worn on the wrist like a smartwatch. “The adaptive display concept can be used as a standard Android smartphone in an unfolded position, worn on the wrist or placed vertically in multiple stand modes.”Lenovo said in a statement.

According to the available data, the smartphone is equipped with a flexible OLED display that supports Full HD+ resolution. When opened, the device is a normal Android smartphone with a 6.9-inch screen. If you give it the shape of a clock, the device automatically switches to a different operating mode and displays data on a 4.6-inch screen.

Note that Lenovo has already been working on prototypes of smartphones with a flexible display that can be worn on the hand. It is not yet known whether the presented new product will be mass-produced.
