Moto e22 and Moto e22i smartphones announced with 90Hz display and Helio G37 chip

Presents affordable smartphones Moto e22 and Moto e22i on the MediaTek hardware platform. The novelties received a 6.5-inch MaxVision HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The devices are equipped with a Helio G37 processor. The chip combines eight cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator. An integrated modem provides support for LTE cellular communication. The amount of RAM is 4 GB. The 64 GB flash module can be expanded with a microSD card.

There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front and a dual camera on the back with a 16-megapixel main unit (f/2.2) and a 2-megapixel add-on module (f/2.4).

The smartphone arsenal includes stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5 adapters, an FM tuner, a side fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB type C connector. Power is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 4020 mAh. Dimensions are 163.95 × 74.6 × 7.99 mm, weight – 172 g.

The Moto e22 and Moto e22i run Android 12 (with the My UX add-on) and Android 12 Go Edition, respectively. The devices also differ somewhat in terms of photo and video recording functions. The price is 140 and 130 euros.
