In anticipation of the very imminent release of Monster Hunter Rise on the PC, many western journalists have succeeded in evaluating Capcom’s hunting role-playing game on a new target platform.

As of the date of this material being posted for the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise on the Review Aggregator site Metacritical 16 reviews have accumulated. The average rating is 88 out of 100%.
By comparison, the Nintendo Switch edition of Monster Hunter Rise received critical acclaim last March similar score (with a much larger number of portals being rated).
Reviewers note that Capcom’s PC version of Monster Hunter Rise turned out to be great: high-resolution textures, faster downloads, detailed settings, support for unlimited frame rates, and ultra-wide monitors.
According to the employee WCftech, Monster Hunter Rise looks worse than Monster Hunter: World (but “It’s still good“), which is compensated for by the reference optimization – the game does not slow down even with maximum settings.
Generally journalists are called The PC version of Monster Hunter Rise is the best option to get started with the game. The only serious disadvantage of porting is the lack of portability, which is also compensated for with the release of the Steam Deck.
Monster Hunter Rise will be released on PC (Steam) on January 12th. At the start, the content of the PC version is compared with build 3.6.1 for Nintendo Switch. The game does not support crossplay and the transfer of saved games between platforms.
