It has been announced that The Witcher: Monster Slayer will be canceled on June 30, 2023 – less than two years after launch. Already on January 31, the game will be removed from the Play Market and the App Store, and microtransactions will be disabled in it.

The developers are proud of their creation and their journey, but CD Projekt official collection of questions and answers found that The Witcher: Monster Slayer did not live up to expectations.

As of today, December 6th, there are no new features or technical enhancements planned for The Witcher: Monster Slayer

Due to this situation, the Spokko team will be integrated into CD Projekt RED. Some employees will be made redundant during this transitional period, but they will be promised help with continued employment.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer was released for iOS and Android on July 21, 2021. By analogy with Pokemon GO, players in the real world need to search for monsters from the Witcher universe and eradicate them – users have already killed more than 100 million monsters.
