The test results of the new mobile processor Ryzen 5 6600H from Rembrandt have appeared in the Geekbench database. This is a mid-range chip with six cores and twelve virtual threads. Tests have shown that the new product is an average of 6% faster on single-threaded tasks and 23% faster on multi-threaded tasks than the previous generation Ryzen 5 5600H.

The working frequency range of the Ryzen 5 6600H is from 3.3 to 4.5 GHz. In Geekbench tests, the chip automatically overclocked to 4527 MHz. The processor was tested as part of a Lenovo 82XX series laptop. Recall that a day earlier, the more productive Ryzen 9 6900HX of the same Rembrandt series participated as part of the same system in the same test, which turned out to be much faster than the previous generation Ryzen 9 5900HX model, but couldn’t compete draw level with the flagship Intel Core i9-12900H model of the Alder Lake-P series.
Rembrandt processors are not only interesting with the new architecture of the Zen 3+ cores, but also with their integrated graphics cores based on the RDNA2 architecture. Unfortunately, these Geekbench benchmarks didn’t test the integrated graphics performance. When announcing the Rembrandt chip series, AMD showed that the integrated graphics of the energy-efficient Ryzen 7 6800U model is significantly faster than competing solutions.
It should be noted that the mentioned Geekbench test is not conclusive. You should wait for the sale of laptops with new AMD processors and, based on certain reviews, draw conclusions.
