We would like to remind you that the role-playing game, available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S and Game Pass (PC and Xbox), attracted more than 10 million people in two weeks of release. This indicator was presented to the project on September 20th.

According to Nadella, Starfield’s audience has since grown by another million to 11 million users. At the same time, gamers spend almost half of their playing time on the PC.

Nadella also mentioned that the day Starfield launched saw the largest daily increase in Game Pass subscribers in the service’s history. The manager did not specify exactly how many subscribers there are.

Among other things, Starfield is likely to have contributed to Microsoft’s gaming division achieving record sales ($3.9 billion) in the quarter, excluding figures from the Christmas season.

It was previously revealed that availability in the Game Pass library did not prevent Starfield from becoming the best-selling (in monetary terms) game in the US in September on PC and Xbox consoles.

Starfield was released on September 6th, but was available to buyers of the Enhanced Edition a full week earlier. Game review on review aggregator website Metacritic does not exceed 86% (PC version).
