Microsoft spoke about innovations for developers and users of its branded content store

Microsoft released Windows 11 (22H2) this week, the first major update to its new operating system. At the same time the software giant said about the development of the Microsoft Store and what developers and users of the platform can expect in the foreseeable future.

At the Microsoft Build conference, the software giant announced a new product called Microsoft Store Ads, which allows developers to create ad campaigns to promote their products on the Microsoft Store. Now the Microsoft Store Ads pilot has been announced, which will allow developers to use Microsoft Advertising to create advertising campaigns in the Microsoft Store to reach the target groups of Windows 11 and Windows 10 users.

It also announced the expansion of access to the Amazon Appstore. It is now available for users in 31 countries including Canada, Australia, France, Germany, US, UK etc. Amazon Appstore provides access to 20,000+ Android apps and games. Additionally, Microsoft will continue to expand the amount of content available through the Microsoft Store. In addition to apps and games, more than 1 million movies and TV shows will be available through the Disney+ and Microsoft Movies and TV catalogues. Windows Insider members have access to the Amazon Prime Video platform content catalogue.

Over the next month, Windows 11 will receive additional updates that will bring new features and improve the experience for users of the Microsoft Store. Announced additional search options in the catalog, as well as the ability to preview screenshots in the Microsoft Store and in Windows search.
