Microsoft announced about adding a number of new features to its Teams-branded collaboration service. The most notable innovation was the integration of Open AI’s advanced ChatGPT chatbot, which should make the process of interacting with the service “smarter, more personalized and more secure”.

Teams Premium subscribers can use the new features. The integration of functions based on artificial intelligence allows you to work more productively. The developers have introduced many new features. Now premium users of the service can use the function of automatic summary of virtual meetings, an online language translation tool for interlocutors, automatic creation of notes, recommended tasks, etc. In addition, it became possible to create personalized timeline markers such as meeting recordings, applying watermarks, restrictions recording features, creating custom templates and more.
The integration of ChatGPT into Teams is the result of Microsoft’s investment in Open AI. In 2019, the software giant invested $1 billion in Open AI and not so long ago announced the expansion of a partnership with the company, under which the ChatGPT developer will receive an additional $10 billion within a few years of intention to open- Integrate AI developments into their existing and future products.
In addition to a host of new features, Team Premium users can interact with the service at a reduced price for a limited time. The Teams Premium subscription is $7 a month through June 30, returning to the usual $10 a month later.
