Microsoft hosts the first live Ignite conference in two years in October

Microsoft will host its first live tech event in more than two and a half years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. company planned October 12-14, Microsoft Ignite’s annual conference for developers and IT professionals. This is pointed out “The number of places at the event is limited”.

The company will open registration for the event at the end of August. Free online presentations are also planned as part of Microsoft Ignite. It should be noted that while the conference will be held live in various cities around the world, the main event will be held at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle, USA.

The company is silent on whether attendees at the event will need to wear masks or be vaccinated against COVID-19 in advance.

A few days before the 10th anniversary of the Surface products, the Microsoft Ignite conference takes place. The company released the first Surface RT tablet on October 26, 2012. According to The Verge, Microsoft will present new Surface products for the occasion and will also release a major update for the Windows 11 operating system version 22H2 at the end of September. But at the Microsoft Ignite conference itself, they will most likely talk about new developments in the Windows environment, updates for Office software, as well as Azure products.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all Microsoft internal and public events have been held as virtual conferences since April 2020. One of the first events in this format was the Microsoft Build exhibition.
