Microsoft has inked another 10-year deal to improve its chances of getting a deal with Activision Blizzard

After the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) blocked the deal between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft, the latter persisted in its desire to acquire Activision and announced another 10-year deal.

About the deal with cloud gaming platform Nware, reported Microsoft Vice Chairman and President Brad Smith wrote on his Twitter page:Microsoft and European cloud gaming platform Nware have signed a 10-year agreement to stream PC games created after the completion of the Xbox acquisition, as well as Activision Blizzard games, on their platform“.

The partnership with Nware is the latest deal Microsoft has signed so far and will bring Call of Duty and other Activision Blizzard games to more people. In recent months, similar agreements have been signed with Boosteroid, Ubitus and NVIDIA, and in December Redmond Corporation signed an agreement with Nintendo.

Earlier this week, the CMA decided to block the Microsoft deal because its decision was driven by concerns about the deal’s perceived impact on the cloud gaming sector. The company announced that it would appeal the decision.
