The Swedish holding company of Embracer Group Financial report for the third quarter of the current financial year spoke about the successes of the post-apocalyptic shooter Metro Exodus and the failures of the spaceship action Chorus.

As has been revealed, total sales of Metro Exodus reached 6 million copies since its release in February 2019. Noting that the game continues to be popular, Embracer Group named it “evergreen”.
Metro Exodus is available for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. In mid-2021, the game received an Enhanced Edition update for current-gen PC and consoles.

As for Chorus, the game, based on Deep Silver Fishlabs’ new intellectual property, has not lived up to management’s financial expectations, despite the relatively warm response from the press (74-78% on metacritical) and gamers.
Chorus debuted on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S in December 2021. In January, the game received a demo personal computerand in February, the trial hit consoles PlayStation and Xbox.
