Integration with the company’s VNTANA platform will allow brands to upload 3D models of their products to social networks and easily turn them into advertisements. According to the head of VNTANA Ashley Crowder (Ashley Crowder), the next step in organizing advertising in the virtual worlds of the metaverse will be the use of such technology.

Meta* has bet on the construction of a metaverse that will take about a decade to complete. Previously, the company worked with Modiface and PerfectCorp, which develop augmented reality solutions to help cosmetics and related brands implement 3D advertising more easily.

According to Crowder, the Metaverse is essentially a “spatial web,” so the release of suitable 3D product models should open up a whole range of new possibilities. Users of the company’s social networks can interact with models, such as bags, while viewing ads on a computer or smartphone screen and move them to view the models from all angles. This gives an idea of what users can expect from devices such as AR glasses.

Prior to integrating VNTANA with Meta*, advertisers must reformat their 3D files to be compatible with the latter’s ad systems. According to Crowder, brands can now use the VNTANA platform to easily upload files and turn them into ads without any special 3D experience.
